Finding 10%
To find 10% of any number, just move the decimal point one place to the left. 10% of 450 is 45.0 (or 45). 10% of 3,250 is 325.
Finding 5%
First find 10% using the trick above, then just cut that number in half! If 10% of 400 is 40, then 5% is simply 20.
Finding 1%
Move the decimal point two places to the left. 1% of 5,000 is 50. 1% of 350 is 3.5.
Finding 20%
Find 10%, then double it! If 10% of 600 is 60, then 20% is 60 × 2 = 120.

The Flip Trick
As mentioned earlier, X% of Y = Y% of X. 16% of 25 looks hard. But 25% of 16 is easy (divide by 4), which is 4. So 16% of 25 is also 4!
